Kim Williamson, MMS, PA-C, CHHP, BCND
Hello! I am a Board Certified Physician Associate (PA) turned Board Certified Naturopath and Certified Holistic Health Practitioner who is passionate about Functional Medicine. I practiced as a clinician mainly in Primary Care and Family Medicine previously and have been in the health industry for two decades. Over a decade ago, I changed to natural, holistic living when I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.
I have battled a brain tumor and suffered through devastating miscarriages, hormonal imbalances, repeated illnesses, joint pains, chronic back pain, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), chronic fatigue, adrenal fatigue or HPA axis dysregulation, Candida and bacterial overgrowth, a horrible H. pylori infection, odd rashes and many more unexplained symptoms.
I met with several specialists and spent thousands of dollars on tests, but none of the specialists I met with could give me an answer and each lab was considered "normal". This prompted me to do my own research and go through hours upon hours of studying and training. Ultimately, I was able to use integrative and functional medicine to get to the root cause of my symptoms.
I believe that our body can function optimally given the proper nutrients and environment that it needs. Western medicine does have its place, especially for acute care, emergencies, and for congenital diseases or conditions that you are born with. However, our bodies were made to work in a state of balance given the right conditions. I decided to become a holistic health consultant to help people get to the basics of turning around their health.
I believe in using a holistic and functional approach to healing. My passion is educating others to take control of their health by learning the tools they can use to make better choices that will help improve their overall wellness.
